LEGO 10273 Haunted House Designer Video: Great Insights into the Design Process

LEGO 10273 Designer Video

This designer video deserves its own little article: The video released today to relaunch the LEGO 10273 Haunted House shows in its approximately 5 minutes running time that LEGO designers are above all one thing: LEGO fans.

The video was released today shortly after the release of the “Ghost House at the Fair” press release and shows Carl Merriam, his son Oliver Merriam, Mike Psiaki, Austin Carlson and Niek van Slagmaat in some frighteningly well-done LEGO Adventurers cosplay costumes during the (re-enacted) design process of the latest addition to the Fairground Collection.

Here you can watch the video:

In the video we present some of the allusions hidden in the set, which we will list again tomorrow in a separate article, because we unfortunately did not manage to accommodate them in the article for the official presentation of the Haunted House today.

The anecdotal test of the Freefall Tower at an altitude of 2m alone is worth the 5 minutes. And if you look closely at the video, one thing that we already suspected when looking at the press pictures is striking: The set (at least at first glance) does not require any stickers. Both the bat coat of arms and the “Manor of Barron” lettering are printed.

What is your favorite detail in the designer video of the LEGO 10273 ghost house at the fair? Again, we look forward to your comments!
